Today was a great day! I presented my What Color Is Your Imagination? theme as a workshop for the Maryland Family Network's training and professional development event. A group of family services and early education professionals and I had a great time talking and learning about our imagination, creativity and problem solving skills.
I got to roll out the new workshop handouts I developed. I think I will make a few tweaks on the design, but I really loved them. If you are going to use color symbolism to teach about creativity, the handouts should be colorful and creative!
One of the workshop activities was having the attendees rethink and re-imagine popular movie titles and join them together in story boards.
